  • 14.75 oz canned pink salmon, drained
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Drain the canned salmon thoroughly and place it in a large mixing bowl. Remove any large bones if present.
  2. Mash the salmon with a fork until it reaches a uniform consistency.
  3. Add the beaten egg, mustard powder, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  4. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty about 1 inch thick.
