  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 2 cups confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, and pumpkin until light and fluffy.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow cooling completely before preparing the frosting by mixing cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  7. Gradually add confectioner’s sugar and vanilla extract.
  8. Frost the cooled bars and cut into squares to serve.
