  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 4 cups chopped broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (or liquid aminos)
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain into bite-sized strips and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together coconut oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar. Pour over the steak to coat.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat with one tablespoon of sesame oil. Add marinated steak along with half of the marinade and sear for about 5 minutes, turning halfway through.
  4. Add another tablespoon of sesame oil to the pan, toss in chopped broccoli, pour in remaining marinade, and cook for an additional 5 minutes until broccoli is tender yet vibrant.
