Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper (or to taste)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve about ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and cook the sliced beef for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add beef broth and scrape up any bits from the pan. Stir in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; let simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Combine cooked pasta and beef with the sauce in the skillet, tossing to coat evenly. Adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
